The Hip-Grip Pair (Pole Attachment System to Hip Belt) lets you attach your Hiking Poles to most Backpacks that have a hip belt. The small pouches are attached around the hip belt and also hooked to the lower part of the shoulder strap of the backpack, so they don't slide forward from the force of the hiking poles.
The Hip-Grip Pair also works with certain other wearables, for example some Life Jackets, Climbing Harnesses and Back Protector Vests. What you need is some kind of belt equivalent going around your waist and somewhere to attach the hook so the Hip-Grips don't slide forward.
